Home Health Services
Physical Therapy: Exercises to regain movement and strength to the body area, and training on how to use special equipment or do daily activities.
Speech Therapy: Continuous exercises to regain and strengthen the patients speech skills through rehabilitative skilled services.
Occupational Therapy: Helps the patient to do usual daily activities by themselves; Patients will learn new ways to eat, put on clothes, do their hair, and new ways to do daily activities.
Skilled Nurse: Nurses in a home heath agency provide direct care; manage, observe, and evaluate the patients care plan. The nurses will also teach the patient and his or her family caregiver.
Home Health Aide: Provided to help the patient with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and hygiene care.
Medical social services: A social worker in home health helps the patients by educating them on the community resources that are available for them.
